ORION applies Rolling Wave Planning as a core transformation discipline, recognizing that not all details can or should be defined at the outset of complex initiatives. Near-term activities are planned with a high degree of clarity, while future work is intentionally defined at a higher level until sufficient information becomes available.
As initiatives progress, Progressive Elaboration is applied to incrementally refine scope, requirements, and execution plans. Work packages are decomposed into manageable, outcome-focused increments—typically no longer than six weeks in duration—ensuring clarity of accountability and enabling timely decision-making.
